Enrollment deadlines
Enrollment deadlines for our summer courses are generally two months before the beginning of each course but never later than May 1st. See course descriptions for details.
Fees
Total fees for each student are:
$2,500(US)
This includes tuition, assessment, internet, email and certificate. It also includes accommodation, food, bus fares, entertainment etc for the duration of the course. It does not include travel to location unless this is an integrated part of the programme.
Free participation
Faculty members bringing five or more students only pay for accommodation and board. Instead, he or she will be required to assist in teaching procedures other than lecturing (overseeing group work, the writing of course papers, etc). The fee for accommodation and board only is $1,550(US).
Note on disability
As the programmess include wilderness hiking, people with disabilities may be unable to participate fully in all the events. Prof. Rosemary Clews, St. Thomas University, who participated in the pilot-course in 2007 will serve as an adviser on this matter and you may consult her by email .
Insurance
All who attend our courses are strongly urged to have a valid travel / health insurance. Although travelling to Iceland and Svartárkot is not dangerous, being insured is always advisable when going abroad.
